Advertising:
Advertising usage is considered when an image is created specifically to market a product or service. Rates vary depending on where and how the advertisement will be placed and the relative prominence of the photograph(s) in the advertisement.
The following is a starting point for local advertising rates:
$2,500.00 includes one full day (8 hours) on location or in studio, including digital capture and color management, basic post-production including file preparation and delivery via DVD or internet download, and up to 4 images for all local and web-based advertising rights for two years. $500.00 per additional image selected or created within the 8 hour day. National and international usage fees are additional. Multi-media option: One edited 60-second video for web-use–add $1,000.00. Production costs additional and vary according to the job.
Corporate–Executive Portraits
Self-Promotion Rights:
The self-promotion executive portrait will fulfill all of your start-up or replacement image needs. The package includes the time needed to produce the outstanding photograph that you demand as well as the post-production retouching that completes the image. The basic package includes instant proofing and editing and your choice of one image to be used for business cards, brochures and on your section of your website. You will receive the image in color and converted to black and white as a high resolution [reproduction quality] 4”X5” tiff files on a DVD for printing purposes. You will also receive the same image sized for web use. $350.00 per person; $150.00 each additional image selected.
Press Release Rights:
The press release package includes everything in the basic package PLUS an 8”X10” high resolution image on a DVD for use and distribution in any and all press releases for an unlimited period of time [although I recommend commissioning a new portrait every three years]. Web use is extended to multiple websites—including the main company’s home page. $850.00 per person; $500.00 each additional image selected.
Corporate/Editorial Rights:
The Corporate/Editorial package will cover most if not all of your business needs. It includes everything in the intermediate package PLUS usage rights for annual reports and editorial purposes—including magazine articles—for a period of two years. Advertising uses—beyond those specified herein are excluded. $1,505.00 per person; $1,000.00 each additional image selected.
Multimedia: $900.00 per 30 second edited video.
Wall Portraits: 16X20 Art Canvas Portraits add $800.00. 20”X24” Art Canvas Portraits add $1250.00. Larger sizes available.
Packages:
$3,000.00 includes one full day (8 hours) on location or in studio, including digital capture and color management, basic post-production including file preparation and delivery via DVD or internet download, and up to ten (10) 20-minute Executive Portrait sessions with immediate proofing including Press Release rights defined below. Ala Carte options: Corporate/Editorial rights add $500.00 per image. Multi-media: Edited 30 second video for web-use add $750.00 per video. Production costs additional and vary according to the job. Individual Portraits in studio: $350.00 each includes Self-Promotion use as defined below. Press Release Package: add $500.00 per image. Corporate/Editorial Package: Add $1,150.00 per image. Wall Portraits (minimum order five (5) prints: 16X20 Art Canvas Portraits add $700.00. 20”X24” Art Canvas Portraits add $1050.00. Larger sizes available.

Editorial:
Photographs captured for editorial purposes are design to illustrate and accompany stories published in newspaper, magazine and blog articles. They are not designed to advertise any specific product or service. Fees are generally based on the size of the image and the press run of the article. Images used on the cover of the magazines do have advertising implications and incur greater fees. Editorial rates are generally lower than advertising rates so an accompanying adjacent photo credit is mandatory.
The following is a starting point for local editorial rates:
$1,500.00 one full day (8 hours) on location or in studio, including digital capture and color management, basic post-production including file preparation and delivery via DVD or internet download, and up to 5 images up to full page size for print and web versions. $250.00 per additional image selected or created within the 8 hour day. National and international usage fees are additional. Multi-media option: One edited 30-second video for web-use–add $750.00. Local cover usage: add $300.00. Production costs additional and vary according to the job.
Model Portfolios:
$1,000.00 includes five hours of shooting time, professional make-up services, basic Photoshop retouching, seven 10” prints for print portfolio use and the same images sized for limited web-use, one hi-resolution “ZED” card composite (5 images) digital file. [Minimum commercial value: $2,850.00]
Pageant Packages:
$500.00 includes professional hair and make-up services, one-hour studio booking for a Beauty Headshot, Banner and Banner/Crown image delivered as 10” prints and the same images sized for limited web-use. One image delivered as hi-resolution file for use in pageant ads/books. [Minimum commercial value: $1,950.00]
“Test” shoots:
There are rare times when I am working on a personal project and I offer TFP shoots. These shoots do incur a considerable cost to me so there is a nominal charge associated. Test shoots are $200.00 and include professional make-up services (one look) and model’s choice of five 10” prints for print portfolio use and the same images sized for limited web-use. Model releases required. [Minimum commercial value: $1,200.00].
Other fees:
Reproduction quality digital 10” images burned to a cd: $250.00 each.
Additional 10” prints, same image sized for limited web use: $200.00 each.
Basic Composite Card laid out using previously selected images and burned to CD: $100.00.
***The above rates represent a substantial discount from my regular commercial rates. Therefore a model release will be required from each shoot. A signed model release will entitle you to one extra image–except for TFP shoots [Minimum commercial value: $200.00 each additional image]

The collections of fine Art Canvas Portraits start at $1000.00 and will ensure you the time needed to create a truly special set of portraits for you and your family. The fee also includes your first finished 16”X20” Art Canvas Portrait.

The Deluxe Portrait series includes the same attention to detail and superior lighting that Stephen Dantzig Photography is known for and receives standard retouching and art work. The prints are produced on Kodak’s finest art portrait paper. Deluxe Portrait Packages start at $500.00 and includes four finished prints up to 8X10 size. Various sizes are available depending on your wall space.
